Grilled Chicken with a little saucy attitude.
Grilled Chicken Breasts With Garlic Parmesan Sauce
- 2 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
- 1/2 tsp. Montreal steak spice
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 3 tbsp. green onion chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 4 oz. heavy cream
- 1 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
Prepare grill to medium high heat. Sprinkle chicken breasts with the steak spice.
Grill Chicken breasts approx. 10 minutes per side or until juices run clear.
While the chicken is grilling, melt the butter in a medium sized pan. Add the green onion and saute for 1 minute. Add the minced garlic and continue to saute for another minute stirring frequently.
Add the heavy cream and raise the heat until the cream begins to boil. Reduce heat to simmer and add the parmesan cheese. Stir until the sauce thickens, about another minute. Spoon sauce over the grilled chicken breasts.
You can make your own steak/chicken spice mixture, but I have found that the Montreal steak spice blend works very well with most meats and it saves a lot of time and effort.
Did you know: Chickens were originally domesticated and bred for cockfighting and not as food. There must have been some real tough chickens around back then.
