Grilled Pork Chops with Carolina Rub

These pork chops will make you squeal with delight!

Pork Chops with Carolina Grill Rub

Cook Time 20 minutes
Total Time 30 minutes
Servings 2 people


For the rub

  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp. coarse salt kosher preferred
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. steak spice Montreal Steak Spice works best


  • 1 lb. (3 to 4) pork chops rib or center cut work well


  1. Combine the first 7 ingredients in a small bowl for the rub.

  2. Prepare grill to medium high heat.

  3. Sprinkle the rub onto the chops and gently rub in.  Turn chops over and repeat.

  4. Grill approx. 8 minutes per side, or until no pink shows.

Recipe Notes

Serve this up with your favorite veggies and enjoy.  Goes well with red potatoes in foil too.
