Fettuccine Alfredo

 No impasta here, this is the real deal!

Fettuccine Alfredo

  • 8 oz. fettuccine noodle uncooked
  • 4 oz. butter 1/2 stick
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (whipping cream)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. fresh ground pepper
  • 3 tbsp, chopped fresh parsley


  1. Cook the fettuccine noodle in a large pot per package instructions.

  2. While the noodle is cooking heat butter and heavy cream along with 1/2 the parsley in a 12 inch skillet over low heat stirring constantly.

  3. Once butter has melted stir in the salt, pepper and grated Parmesan.  Heat until the mixture begins to thicken, about a minute.

  4. Drain the fettuccine and add it to the pan.  Toss until the noodle is evenly coated.  Serve immediately topped with the remaining chopped parsley.
