Homemade Cranberry Sauce

A very easy Cranberry Sauce to make for that Holiday Turkey.

Homemade Cranberry Sauce

Servings 1 turkey dinner


  • 6 oz. dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup marsala wine
  • 1/2 cup orange juice the less pulp the better


  1. Begin by putting the cranberries in a medium sauce pan and warming them over low heat for about 3 minutes.

  2. Gradually stir in the brown sugar until the cranberries are well coated.

  3. Next stir in the marsala wine followed by the orange juice.  Turn the heat up to a boil and cook for 5 minutes stirring constantly.  Let it cool for a few minutes and then spoon the cranberry sauce into a bowl and refrigerate for at least a half hour before serving.  Just add turkey and enjoy.
