Tuna Steaks With Creamy Dill Sauce
- 10 oz. fresh yellowfin tuna (2 steaks)
- kosher salt
- lemon pepper
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. snipped chives
- 1 tbsp. fresh dill weed chopped finely
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- 1 tsp. lime juice
- 3 tbsp. heavy cream
Fire up the grill to med.high heat. While the grill is warming sprinkle the tuna (one side only) with kosher salt and lemon pepper.
Grill the tuna for approx. 4 minutes. Turn over and grill for another 3 minutes. Do not over cook the tuna.
In a 8 inch pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chives, saute for 1 minute. Add the dill weed and thyme.
Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened approx. 2 minutes. Spoon the sauce over the warm tuna and you're done.
